About Campobello, SC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Campobello, South Carolina is a small community found along the South Pacolet River, and just over 500 people resided here as of 2010. The town is part of the Spartanburg Metro Area and is conveniently located near both the Cherokee Foothills National Scenic Highway and I-26. Campobello was originally founded in 1840, and its name is derived for the Italian word meaning “beautiful field.”

This small town offers a wealth of recreational opportunities. Many local community events are held at the Gowensville Community Center, and the Links O’Tryon Golf Club is a great place for golf enthusiasts to hit the links. Buck ‘N Brew Coffee is a local coffee and sandwich shop, and other great restaurants here include the Doghouse Drive In and Dutch Plate. Local festivals in Campobello also celebrate folk history in this Appalachian region, and they include the Mountain Music Festival and the Moonshiner’s Reunion.

Residents of Campobello will enjoy a variety of seasonal weather conditions throughout the year. In January, locals will experience some of the coldest weather; still, temperatures average in the 50s for highs, which tends to be warmer than much of the U.S. Snowfall is not common here, but residents must still be prepared at home with a heat pump or furnace. Warm and consistent indoor heating is a necessity, so residents should invest in both the right climate control system and seasonal maintenance with an HVAC technician.

Climate controls become even more important during Campobello summers. Temperatures rise throughout the spring, and by July, average daily highs are in the 80s and 90s. With high humidity levels, thermostat readings won’t even change much after the sun goes down. This sticky summer heat requires an efficient way to stay cool at home, and for most residents, this means investing in a central air conditioner.
