The City of Chesnee can be found just north of I-85 at the intersection of Highways 221 and 11. Found in the northeastern portion of Spartanburg County, this small city was home to about 870 people as of 2010. Chesnee is conveniently located 18 miles south of Rutherfordton and 16 miles north of Spartanburg.
